Update from Amery

Hello friends and Happy Holidays!

I hope you all have been well. I have been so blessed to have been home with my little Hazel for the last 4 months (almost) and am so excited to celebrate her first Christmas together. As many of you know, it is such a precious time; difficult as well, but I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to solely focus on our sweet new baby for as long as I have.

I first off want to tell you how much I appreciate each of you and your flexibility during this time. The girls at the salon have been working so hard with me away and I know they have done their best to make room for everyone on their schedules, which is no easy task. But you all have been so patient and understanding. Thank you!

As we move toward 2022, I am planning my return to the salon. Yay! This comes with good news and bad news. Yes, I will be back, but with a very limited schedule. I will be working two days a week, which unfortunately means that I will not have the amount of time behind the chair that we are used to and I will not be able to accommodate everyone. I've tried to come up with a way to say yes to everyone and make time for all of you, but with focus now on my little one, I cannot.

So, that being said, I feel it is in fairness that I offer my time to the clients that have been my most frequent and long term. I have also made a big decision that I will no longer be offering men's services. I find myself in a scenario in which I need to use my time in the best way and to simplify my schedule. This all seems like an impossible task for me and so difficult to imagine. I love working with each one of you and understand that this will be disappointing for many of you. It definitely is for me. This is not a 'forever' plan, and I think the future will offer me more availability to work, but I have to take the opportunity I have to be home as much as I can with Hazel while she is still small.

Moving forward, I will be reaching out to schedule appointments. Please give me some time to do this. And as I make my decisions, please know that this is such a challenge for me and this is not personal to any of you. I also would really like to hear from you if you have been happy with your stylist while I was away and would not mind staying in their chair.

Holiday blessings to you all!
Sending my love...
